Nature in Costa Dorada

Are you planning to travel to Costa Dorada and see its natural spots this Summer? At Shuttle2Sun, we provide comfortable and low-cost transfers from Barcelona El Prat airport Reus airport and AVE Camp de Tarragona station to your hotel or apartment in Costa Dorada.

In addition to this, we suggest the following activities during your stay in Costa Dorada:

Hiking

There are a multitude of routes that allow you to see diverse villages and magnificent landscapes while exercising your body, as well as cooling off on the fantastic beaches and coves:

  • Tarragona coastal path to Punta de la Mora: it’s about 9 km one way. You can start at Punta del Miracle and follow the path parallel to the sea, crossing wonderful beaches such as Arrabassada, Savinosa and Playa Larga, as well as some coves.
  • The Salou coastal path: you can walk from Pilones to Cap Salou lighthouse. It is about 6 km one way, and you can stop for a swim at any beach. The path is well signposted, so there will be no difficulty at all. Along the way you will see coves, beaches, Civil War bunkers and the remains of the lazaretto, ending with the 19th century Cap Salou lighthouse.
  • Miami Playa coastal path: This is an asphalted path with a cycle lane that winds around some coves, where you can admire the landscape starting at the Miami promenade and ending at Platja Cristall.

Mountains and parks

Costa Dorada has several magnificent mountain landscapes, such as Prades Mountains, where you can find the municipality of Prades, which is surrounded by the red colour of the stones of its wall, as well as the church and a large number of houses. That is why it is called the Red Village. You can visit the main square, its Gothic church, its famous Renaissance fountain, its defence tower, etc.

We also recommend visiting Parc Samà of Cambrils, which has a botanical garden of 14 hectares and more than 1,500 species of flora and fauna. Going there with the family is a great experience, so don’t miss it.

Getting to all these corners of the Catalan coast is very easy thanks to Shuttle2Sun. Book your transfer today and enjoy a great day out with family or friends on Costa Dorada!
