What to do in Costa Brava in August

Are you planning to go to Costa Brava during your holidays? Shuttle2Sun offers fast, comfortable, and cheap transfers from Barcelona airport and Girona airport. Below, we recommend some activities to make the most of your visit this August.

Visit Cala Trons, Lloret de Mar

This is one of the most intimate and peaceful coves in the municipality, measuring 100 metres in length and with normally few visitors.

You can reach this cove along the coastal path that leads from Lloret de Mar to Tossa de Mar. About 300 metres from the entrance to the cove, you will find a place to park your car in the La Montgoda housing estate.

This cove is rocky and has coarse sand, and is ideal for snorkelling or shallow diving.

Taste the gastronomy

If you visit Costa Brava you must try the seafood and fresh fish, not forgetting the traditional Catalan food.

Among the must-try dishes of Costa Brava are prawns from Palamós, anxoves de l’Escala and suquet de peix (fish stew). Paella is also a dish you must try, and if it is in a restaurant with a terrace on the seafront, in towns such as Blanes, Tossa de Mar or Lloret de Mar, the experience will be extraordinary.

Sail on a sailboat

This is one of the most special experiences you can have on Costa Brava. You can’t miss an experience like watching the sun set over the Mediterranean with your family or friends.

Usually, these trips include a visit to an inaccessible cove, where you can possibly snorkel or take a walk near the sea.

If you haven’t explored Costa Brava yet, don’t wait any longer! Book your transfer from Barcelona el Prat airport or Girona airport with Shuttle2Sun, we will take you to your hotel or apartment and you will enjoy an unforgettable Summer.
