Immersive experiences

If you love Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts books and films, you can’t miss the immersive and interactive exhibition ‘Harry Potter: The Exhibition’, where you can enjoy a fun experience, taking pictures with the most emblematic elements, which will remind you of specific moments of the saga. Don’t forget to buy your tickets through the website.

At CaixaForum in Barcelona, you can also opt for two immersive virtual reality experiences: ‘Ravel’s Bolero’, which will envelop you in the music of the Symphony Orchestra of Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona; and ‘Symphony’, which will delight you with the compositions of Beethoven, Mahler and Bernstein, performed by the Mahler Chamber Orchestra.

Inside Moco Museum, Barcelona’s modern and contemporary art museum, you’ll find an immersive digital art room, with digital works by Danish studio Studio Irma and Brussels artist Les Fantômes.

And at Ikono Barcelona museum, you’ll be the star of this fun-filled adventure. Get ready to take the best photographs, together with your family and friends.

Visit the most original museums

One of the most striking and original museums in Barcelona is Paradox Museum, a great option if you are travelling with your family, as it is an interactive exhibition where nothing seems to make sense. This curious museum is located at Plaça Urquinaona, number 3, just a few steps from Plaça Catalunya.

Like this one, you’ll find the Big Fun Museum and the Museum of Illusions, ideal for a family plan, located on Barcelona’s Rambla.

Inside Ciutadella, you’ll find Barcelona’s oldest public museum. It is the former the Geology Museum of Ciutadella Park, now known as Martorell Exhibition Centre, which is located inside Natural Science Museum of Barcelona. It includes exhibitions on climate change and biodiversity.

We also present the Skate Museum, a trend among young people in recent years. It is the first in Spain, with more than 1,000 skateboards, more than 150 radio cassettes, as well as anthological motorbikes, lunchboxes and pinball machines.

Finally, you can visit the Perfume Museum, founded in 1963 at Paseo de Gracia, 39. During your visit, you can learn about the evolution of perfume bottles, by brand, in chronological order, from prehistoric times, ancient history and the Roman Empire to the present day.
