Grandparents’ Day

Every 26th of July, International Grandparents’ Day is celebrated to say thank you for all the unconditional support and love that these family members give us. At Shuttle2Sun, we love to offer airport to hotel transfers for the whole family and we want to remind you that a trip is always a great way to thank your grandparents for everything they do for you. So, don’t think twice, book them a trip to the Catalan coast! In this blog, we give you a couple of ideas to do together during your trip:

On Costa Dorada, you can be fascinated by the impressive ruins of the ancient Roman amphitheater, located in the city of Tarragona. The city of Tarraco, as the Romans called it, was the capital of the Roman Empire for two years and is still so culturally rich that it has been declared a World Heritage Site.

In the city of Barcelona, a visit to the world-famous Sagrada Familia is a must. The construction of the Sagrada Familia dates to 1882 and is still under construction today, yet it is an incredibly captivating Catholic Basilica. It is the masterpiece of the famous architect Antoni Gaudí.

If you are staying in Costa Brava, you should take a bus or car and go to the city of Figueres to visit the wonderful Dalí Theatre-Museum, which is a museum completely dedicated to the famous painter Salvador Dalí.

At Shuttle2Sun, we want to offer you the best transfers to sunny destinations, so that the whole family can enjoy the incredible Mediterranean coast and not worry about anything. Whether you arrive at Barcelona airport, Reus airport or Girona airport, we will take you to your hotel in Costa Dorada, Barcelona or Costa Brava!
