An essential visit during your stay in Barcelona is the Park Güell.

Park Güell, inaugurated in 1926, is an emblematic public park in the city of Barcelona. Designed by world-renowned architect Antoni Gaudí in an architectural style that reflects Catalan modernism. The park is named after Eusebi Güell, a Spanish industrialist distinguished primarily as a patron of Gaudí, to whom Güell commissioned several masterpieces, including Park Güell and the Palau Güell (on Carrer Nou in la Rambla).
Park Güell, with a surface area of 12 hectares, stands out for its architectural uniqueness, attractive design and harmony of colours and shapes. It was declared a Monument of Cultural Interest by the Spanish State in 1969 and a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984, given its magical splendour.
Some unique corners of the park that you cannot miss are: Plaza de la Naturaleza, as it is the heart of the park, Pórtico de la Lavandera, Dragon’s Staircase and the Austrian Gardens.
In addition to the grandeur of the park, during your visit you can enjoy the wonderful views of the city of Barcelona from several iconic points in the park.
Remember, a ticket is essential to enter the park.
