Tourism Day

Today is the day of tourism, and at Shuttle2Sun, we celebrate having the possibility of transporting and bringing people together, as well as allowing them to discover fantastic new destinations.

Are you visiting Catalonia this Summer from abroad? Shuttle2Sun takes you to your hotel on Costa Dorada, Costa Brava or Barcelona through our transfers from Barcelona airport, Reus airport and Camp de Tarragona AVE station

Here are three destinations not to be missed if you visit Catalonia:

Paseo de Gracia, in Barcelona

This is an emblematic boulevard of the Catalan capital where you will find many fashion and accessory shops of very important brands. You can also enjoy the modernist architecture of the city, as well as different works of Gaudí and other contemporary artists, such as La Pedrera, Casa Batlló, Casa Lleó Morera and Casa Amatller.

Roman Amphitheatre, in Tarragona

It was built in the 2nd century AD and is located by the Mediterranean Sea. Gladiator fights were held here. It is considered a World Heritage Site. It has an elliptical shape and had underground rooms for beasts and gladiators who were lifted up to the amphitheatre arena with a hoist. In the stands, the audience was separated into social classes by walls and corridors.

Coves of Cap de Creus, in Girona

In this area there are several beaches that are among the best in Spain, according to National Geographic. You can find them on Costa Brava, the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula. Among the most spectacular beaches are Cala d’Aiguablava and Cala Pola, although there are many more to marvel at.
