Nowadays, the city of Tarragona is known for its cultural tourism, since there are still several monuments of Roman ruins, among which the amphitheater stands out for its excellence.

Roman amphitheater

The Roman amphitheater is an emblematic oval building dating from the 2nd century, which stands out for its magnificent stands carved into the rock and its proximity to the sea. The amphitheater of Tarraco emphasizes its grandeur by measuring 109.5 by 86.5 meters in total and having a capacity of approximately 14,000 spectators.
